Unser Hotel in Tokio war in Odaiba, künstlich aufgeschütteten Inseln in der Bucht von Tokio. Auf dem Nachhauseweg mit der Yurikamome Bahn, sehe ich in einem Hafenbecken ein oranges Schiff, dass mir irgendwie bekannt vorkommt. Eine kurze Recherche zeigt, dass es sich bei besagtem Schiff um die Sôya handelt, welche im Museumshafen des Museum of Maritime Science von Tokio liegt.
Also am nächsten Morgen einen kurzen Zwischenstopp eingelegt, um das antarktische Forschungsschiff zu besichtigen.

Merci für die Bilder. Ich kannte das Schiff noch nicht, habe aber seine bewegte Geschichte nun auf Wikipedia gelesen. Sehr beeindruckend. :)
