Links / Swiss Modellers facebook Gruppe
12. September 2016, 12:11:42
Hallo !

Feel free to join and contribute with your work in progress, tips and techniques and announce model shows, whatever is your language.

You can of course invit your swiss modellers facebook friends to join as well. :)

Link is https://www.facebook.com/group/swissmodellers

Gabriel of GDKits is a very nice guys and he provides a very good service to his clients.
If you have the same opinion as me and you want to do him a favour, just go on his Facebook page and give him a good rating. This will help him.

I was out of the forum for a couple of days so I am catching up on your build Tobias.
You did a fantastic job so far.

I envy you when you say : I have two weeks holidays to do scale models ! For me with 3 little kids and the wife, if I can spend 3 hours per week in my hobby-room, I am already happy !

I will follow the end of your build very closely because I want to get the tropical version that was just release recently by Airfix.

Sehr schön !  :)

Very interesting. I am also thinking of buying something like this for a while.
I've seen the Vertigo jigs. It's more expensive than JH Models but maybe more stable. Also I like that you can buy a holder for "monoplane" and there's the possibility to upgrade it to "biplane" so you don't need to buy two holders.
I'll think of it...  :)

Thank you very much guys ! I am glad you like it. To be honest, it was my first dirty WRC in action. I was usually building them clean, bright and without pilots !

I switched to an airplane now : 1/48 Special Hobby CAC-12 Boomerang
Will show you the progress soon.

Welcome from french speaking part of Switzerland !

Thank you very much for your comments ! Glad you like it.

Well seen guys ! Some WRC don't have right rear view mirror (I guess to save some weight). That is the case for the Focus of McRae on this rally.

If you want to know what happened in Monte Carlo in 2001, check out this video.

Thank you for your kind comments guys ! Yes Carlo, you're right, I could have added some fresh mud but the car is finished and I don't like to change it afterward.

I took some photos in snowy conditions in my garden. Believe it or not, but if you see snow or drops on the model, it's because it was really snowing when I took the shots !
